Goodbye WoW, Hello EVE OnlineI gave EVE a real try this time, and I am impressed. I reconciled my distaste for the character models by trying different races/bloodlines, and not just giving up after looking at one race/bloodline. I also played through not only the tutorial missions, but also the "Cash for Capsuleers" introductory missions before reviewing the experience. On a related note; I havn't logged on to WoW for over a week, and my account is officially not being renewed in May. The market is a real market; crafting, mining, and shipping is useful and profitable. Unlimited item space has also soothed my inner packrat without having to roll a server full of alts just to hold stuff. Respeccing and grinding is uneccesary because my skills/character development are only limited by the time spent training, and training continues as long as my account is active and I keep selecting a new skill when the previous one finishes. I'm still having some problems finding the ideal agents to work for, but that is just lack of research on my part. Calthrop is my main character if anyone wants to look me up. I don't have to tell you which server or faction because there is only one server and none of the factions are socially incompatible.
